THE LOOP

Five moving parts. Four of them are on chain and verifiable by anyone; the fifth is a keeper that can do exactly one thing.

Trade $QLOOP

Every buy and sell pays the token's fee. The Loop contract is the fee receiver.

ETH fills the furnace

Fees arrive as ETH (or WETH, which anyone can unwrap). The balance is public and shown live above.

Keeper finds the floor

A bot watches OpenSea for the cheapest native-ETH listing of a QUOTRON terminal and hands the signed order to the contract.

Seaport settles

The contract pays the seller through Seaport 1.6 and refuses to finish unless it actually holds the terminal.

Hardwire, then 0xdead

A dark terminal is hardwired first, burning its 1.0 $QUOTRON on the protocol's own books. Then the terminal goes to 0xdead. Forever.

What the contract can do On chain

  • Receive ETH from anyone. Unwrap WETH.
  • Buy only a QUOTRON terminal, by id, priced in native ETH, at or below maxPricePerBurn.
  • Hardwire dark terminals, then transfer every terminal it acquires to 0xdead.
  • Keep a public ledger: token id, price paid, seller, block, whether it burned the $QUOTRON itself.

What the owner can do Steering only

  • Change the keeper address and the price cap so the Loop never overpays for a terminal.
  • Recover stray ERC-20s / NFTs that were sent to the contract by mistake.
  • Cannot un-burn a terminal, mint anything, or route a purchase anywhere but the QUOTRON contract.
Why hardwire before burning? A dark terminal is backed by one liquid $QUOTRON. Sending it straight to 0xdead would strand that token. Hardwiring first burns the token through the protocol's own one-way door, so both the Quotrons census and the Loop's ledger agree: one fewer token, one fewer terminal, forever.

THE SHRINE

Every terminal the Loop consumes is enshrined: struck from the floor, out of the reroll pool, off every order book, and displayed here with its original screen. 4,444 was the ceiling. It is now the countdown.

THE MATH

Supply is fixed at 4,444 and the Loop only subtracts. Plug in your own assumptions; the page recomputes the countdown.

Floor is an assumption, not a feed: the Loop pays whatever the cheapest listing asks, up to its cap.

What a burn does and does not do. A burned terminal is gone from the market, gone from the reroll pool, and can never be listed again — that is the rarity. If it was lit, its stock-reward stream keeps accruing to 0xdead where nobody can ever claim it. The Loop does not promise higher rewards for anyone; it promises fewer terminals.
